How a Laser Rangefinder Works
Bushnell's Yardage Pro rangefinders use an invisible, eye-safe Class 1 Laser beam (as classified by the FDA) which is "bounced" off distant objects with the press of a button. Then, the rangefinder's high-speed digital clock measures the time it took for a laser beam to reach a target and return to the unit. Next, using advanced digital electronics, the rangefinder instantly calculates the distance within ±1 yard and shows the range in either yards or meters on a through-the-lens LCD Display. The entire process is so fast that less than a second elapses between the time you press the button to generate a laser beam to the time the exact range to your target is displayed.

CONFIDENCE HAS A NEW LOOK AND FEEL it's like perfect feel in putting, just 1,000 yeards long. The new Tour V2 with Pinseeker laser rangefinders rests in your hand with an ergonomic precision that boilds confidence and pride. Its guts are 100% Bushnell laser rangefinder, but the package outside will rival your favorite driver with a custom high-tak grip. The new V2 sets a new standard in the complete laser rangefinder package -looks, feel and performance. A package that may see players starting to waggle their V2 before the range with their targets.

Bushnell 7 x 26 Elite 1600 Horizontal Rangefinder - Black

Bushnell 7 x 26 Elite 1600 Horizontal Rangefinder - Black Review

Bushnell 7 x 26 Elite 1600 Horizontal Rangefinder - Black Feature

• Standard Scan Mode
• Rifle and Bow Mode
• BullsEye and brush mode
• RainGuard HD
• 100% waterproof

The premier laser rangefinder for hunters and marksmen of uncompromising standards, the Bushnell Elite 1600 ARC 7x26 rangefinder backs up its bold statements with proven performance and the best components available today. The Elite 1600 ARC is outfitted with Bushnell's Angle Range Compensation (ARC) technology, which provides accurate readings from tree stands and steep hills. Simply hit the Fire button and it will calculate the "shoots-like" distance based on the angle of your shot. No more having to adjust your true horizontal distance by eye when you're standing at an extreme uphill or downhill angle.

The rangefinder also offers a number of specially designed distance modes. Bow Mode, for example, simultaneously displays line-of-sight, angle, and true horizontal distances to the target from 5 to 99 yards. In Rifle Mode, you'll receive bullet-drop and holdover information customizable for the exact zeroed range of your rifle in conjunction with the Variable Sight-In (VSI) distance technology. The rangefinder also offers Scan Mode, which continually scans the course and updates the LCD with the latest distance info; BullsEye Mode, which acquires the distances of close-in small targets and game without inadvertently measuring background target distances; and Brush Mode, which ignores the brush and branches in the foreground and displays background distances only.

And with its super-premium, fully multicoated optics, no laser rangefinder monocular delivers a more stunning view. The housing is 100-percent waterproof, with Bushnell's patented RainGuard HD lens coating ensuring a clear view in moist conditions. Featured on all Elite products, the unique water-repellent coating causes water drops from rain, snow, sleet, or condensation to bead up into much smaller droplets. These tiny droplets scatter less light, resulting in a much clearer and brighter picture.

How Bushnell's Laser Rangefinders Work
Bushnell's laser rangefinders use an invisible, eye-safe Class 1 laser beam (as classified by the FDA), which is "bounced" off distant objects at the press of a button. In the process, the rangefinder uses a high-speed digital clock to measure the time it took for the laser beam to reach the target and return, and then calculates the distance within plus-or-minus 1 yard. The entire process is so fast that less than a second elapses between the time you press the button and the time the exact range appears. The information appears on the unit's through-the-lens LCD display.

Because rangefinders bounce laser beams off targets in order to take measurements, their range is partially determined by the target's reflectivity. So distances to reflective or "hard" targets like rock cliffs and semis can be measured from farther away than those to soft-surface targets such as deer. Ranges for moderately reflective targets, like trees, fall somewhere in the middle. Most experienced hunters will use their rangefinder to estimate ranges to near and distant landmarks before they actually encounter a game animal. By pre-measuring ranges to spots where trophies are likely to appear, they can concentrate on making an accurate shot when the moment of truth arrives.

Bushnell Sport 850 Laser Rangefinder

Bushnell Sport 850 Laser Rangefinder Review

Bushnell Sport 850 Laser Rangefinder Feature

• Made by Bushnell Outdoor Products

Lightning fast, lightweight, and small enough to fit in a shirt pocket, the Bushnell Sport 850 laser rangefinder packs a monster dose of accuracy into a sleek, easy-to-handle body. The Sport 850 is as easy to use as a laser rangefinder to be: with the tap of a single button, you'll know the exact distance to your target from 5 to 850 yards. The rangefinder also offers bright, crystal-clear optics, so you can see the target even in low light. With hairsplitting precision and long-term dependability, the Sport 850 is a favorite of bow and rifle hunters alike.

Bushnell Legend 1200 ARC Bow and Rifle Modes Laser Rangefinder, Black

Bushnell Legend 1200 ARC Bow and Rifle Modes Laser Rangefinder, Black Review

Bushnell Legend 1200 ARC Bow and Rifle Modes Laser Rangefinder, Black Feature

• Laser rangefinder with distance range of 5 to 1,200 yards
• Custom Bow and Rifle modes help eliminate distance guesswork
• Angle Range Compensation (ARC) accounts for terrain angle when aiming
• Fully waterproof construction with RainGuard HD anti-fog technology
• Includes case, strap, and battery; measures 1.4 x 2.9 x 4.3 inches (W x H x D

When it comes to ranging distance and ballistic capability, the Bushnell Legend 1200 ARC laser rangefinder packs a ton of power into a handy, easy-to-use package. The Legend 1200 ARC--which comes in a compact vertical body--offers instant distance readings of up to 1,200 yards. As a result, you can easily identify game from across the prairie or through a dense forest. The rangefinder also offers both Bow and Rifle modes. In Bow mode, the rangefinder will eliminate traditional bow guesswork by providing the true horizontal distance to the target from 5 to 99 yards. In Rifle mode, the Legend 1200 ARC gives you bullet drop/holdover data in inches from 100 to 800 yards, in effect telling you where to hold the scope. It's like having two different rangefinders in one.

That's just the beginning, as the Legend 1200 ARC also offers Angle Range Compensation (ARC). ARC accounts for the terrain angle when calculating distance, so you know precisely how to adjust your shot when facing extreme uphill or downhill angles. Geared for close-range use, the BullsEye mode acquires the distances of small targets and game without inadvertently measuring background target distances. When more than one object is acquired, the Legend 1200 Arc's LCD display shows the closer of the two objects. The unit also offers a Brush mode, which ignores brush, boulders, and tree branches in the foreground, and a Scan mode that surveys the course while continuously update the distance between you and your target.

And weather is never an issue thanks to the Legend 1200 ARC's fully waterproof construction and RainGuard HD anti-fog technology. The RainGuard HD coating breaks up moisture even faster and more effectively than the original RainGuard formula, and adds a slicker surface to help clear elements on the lens easier and faster. Additional details include a built-in digital inclinometer that measures angles from -90 to 90 degrees within 1 degree of accuracy; a pocket-sized ergonomic design with a textured rubber grip; and such accessories as a carrying case, battery, and neck strap.

The laser rangefinder offers both Bow and Rifle modes for increased versatility.
